Nature-Based Education Fund

Nature-based learning invites children beyond four walls and into living classrooms — beneath trees, beside streams, and along winding woodland paths. Research continues to show that time spent outdoors strengthens early literacy, emotional regulation, problem-solving skills, and physical development, while nurturing a lifelong respect for the natural world. In the whimsicals of the woods — where moss becomes a cushion, acorns become currency, and wind becomes a storyteller — children practice curiosity, resilience, and wonder. Supporting this work means tending not only young minds, but the roots of future caretakers, gardeners, and gentle stewards of the earth.
